This farm is set in the very heart of nature with seemingly endless vistas of golden grass and rich, red earth. Accommodation is offered either in the rustic, farm-style rooms close to the main house, or in one of the two spacious and secluded chalets.
Meals are generally enjoyed in the open air boma just in front of the farm house; on colder days, the main dining room is a cosy option. The food is good, home-style cooking and is generally produced on the farm-whether it is succulent lamb, organic vegetables, smoked game, or if one is lucky, rare Kalahari truffles (a local delicacy that only grows when there have been good rains).
During the farm tour, Hans explains the holistic farming techniques employed to overcome the arid conditions of the Kalahari. You will also see how the wool is cleaned, spun and finally woven into intricate carpets. Both are definitely worth the time. Next to the weaving workshop is the Kirikara Gallery with many beautiful artefacts that have been carefully sourced by Claudia from all over Africa.
Although the emphasis at Kiripotib is not on game viewing, the farm has a variety of wild animals including zebra, blesbok, springbok, hartebeest, oryx, kudu, steenbok and warthog. These can often be spotted while on a nature drive or on a sundowner trip. For the more energetic, there are several bush walks that can be either done on one's own or with a guide.

Policy on children staying with parents:
Infants up to the age of two years can stay with parents at no charge, and children between the ages of three and 13 are given a discounted rate if sharing with their parents.
Cancellation Policy:
If notice of cancellation is given 14 days before arrival date or less, or in the case of no show, there is a 100 % cancellation fee. Notice given 15 to 21 days before the booked arrival date results in a 75 % cancellation fee. Notice given 22 to 30 days before arrival results in a 50 % cancellation fee and notice of 30 days or more before arrival results in a 25 % cancellation fee.
